Open House at Robin Run
Several senior members of the Carmel area attended our Open House, held July 29 at Robin Run Community.
Nightingale began offering services at Robin Run in December, and the Open House provided an opportunity to introduce our services to the residents of the Community. Nightingale provides healthcare services at Robin Run from 11:30 - 3 pm, M-F. A nurse is available during this time, along with a home health aide. Residents may visit the nurse anytime for health checks, i.e., blood pressure, blood sugar, heart rate, etc. They can also get help with prescription refills and doctor appointments. The home aide provides assistance to the residents with their physical needs. Our PT, OT, and Social Workers also provide services at the Community.
Dan Hollis, marketer for Nightingale hosted the event, with assistance from Jesse Forman, who is a scheduler for Nightingale and Jenny Hedges, LPN of Nightingale. Robin Run provided food for the guests, and Dick Crum (alias Dr. Dirt), local gardening guru who hosts a radio station for WIBC, provided entertainment. Live broadcasts were made throughout the day inviting folks to the event.
The guests were also introduced to the no-cost glucometer program that is sponsored by Nightingale.
Dan expressed gratitude for the helpfulness of the Robin Run staff in preparing the food and offering tours of the facility. "The services that we provide at Robin Run offer more than health care", stated Hollis. "They offer peace of mind".
