Local health care company hopes to erase confusion for seniors at open house event

April 26, 2011 (Carmel, IN) -- Making major lifestyle changes due to age, health, or finances can be confusing. Nightingale Home Healthcare is cutting through some of that uncertainty by bringing together local and national vendors who will offer answers at the company's Open House tomorrow, April 27, starting at 12:00 noon.

Nightingale President, Dr. Dev Brar, said that his staff has worked diligently during the past weeks to put together a team of professionals who will take time to answer questions on rehab, Alzheimer's, home care, assisted living, home downsizing, physician house calls, financial planning, medication discount cards, diabetic equipment, rehab equipment, elder law, and several others. Visitors to the Open House can also experience bone density testing, cholesterol levels, blood pressure, and other health checks.

The Open House begins at noon on Wednesday, April 27 with a free lunch in the rear of the Nightingale office, located at 1036 S. Rangeline Road. The facility is handicap accessible. The event will run until 6:00 pm.

Dr. Brar encourages anyone who is considering home care for either a loved one or self, to attend the annual event. "Nightingale has always aspired to be number one in home health care", says Brar, "and this event is designed to erase doubts and confusion from the minds of our seniors and to ensure that peace of mind that is so important for good health."
